Words go in all four directions.
Slide words into X area.Slide words into the "X" area by dragging the blue arrows. Letters in the vertical words will cross letters in the horizontal words.
If the puzzle is set up as a slideword puzzle, it may have some words
pre-placed. If it is set up as a traditional crossword, then all the words will
be in place and you don't need to slide them. |
Look for anagrams.Anagrams - words with the letters shuffled - give you the starting clue where words go. In this example, "TUFER" is a partial anagram of "REFUTE". |
Shaped letters. The shape of each letter tells you what direction it reads. Adjacent letters must fit together like jigsaw puzzle pieces. |
The X reveals two diagonal words. The diagonals make the letters green, and reveals the puzzle's "punch line". This one is "Fat cat". |
Type in upper or lower case.Use uppercase when you are sure, lowercase when you are tentative. Press Enter to switch to upper. |
Use arrows.Keyboard arrows can move within a selected word. Or just move the mouse. |
